Kristin Long (she/her), DPsa, RDT/BCT, LCAT, LP, has a full-time private practice in New York City working with children, adolescents, families, and adults. She is a faculty member and supervisor at The Institute for Expressive Analysis in New York City where she teaches classes on the therapeutic use of the body and Expressive Analysis with children and adolescents. Kristin also teaches Projective Techniques in the Drama Therapy Department at NYU.  Dr. Long is also a Fellow at The Parkmore Institute, where she received her doctorate in Psychoanalytic Studies. Having completed her EMDR training at the Parnell Institute, Kristin has a specific interest in the non-verbal transmission of intergenerational trauma. She has presented nationally and internationally on the importance of attunement within relational dyads, specifically around parent/child treatments. Dr. Long has also taught at various conferences on ways to incorporate creative arts into traditional psychotherapy spaces.
